Busk Break: Skunk Ruckus performs “Southbound Train”

Bassist Max and vocalist/banjo player/kickdrummer Jim are two of three members of the Marshall, NC, based band Skunk Ruckus. Here, they perform their original tune “Southbound Train,” which they describe as “Our anti-‘Wagon Wheel’ song.” Given the number of street-corner covers I’ve heard of that Old Crow Medicine Show tune, I’m glad they picked this one for their Busk Break debut. The band also has songs about zombie love and other fun topics, so check them out if you get the opportunity. Subscribe to Busk Break on YouTube and “like” us on Facebook.
