Funny men and women take over The Grove Park Inn

The journey from the police car to the comedy stage came naturally for Mike Armstrong. He used to stop drivers to warn them about speed traps (a bold move for any cop). Now his police humor has landed him on Oprah, Fox and Comedy Central.

Armstrong will appear at the Grove Park Inn Comedy Classic Weekend March 9-10. He’ll be joined by Kathleen Madigan, a strong comedian who has performed alongside Robin Williams, Lewis Black and other well-known funny men and women.

Friday will featureAndrew Kennedy, Rachel Feinstein, Mike Armstrong, Mike Green and Ralph Harris. Saturday’s performance will feature Kathleen Madigan, Ryan Hamilton and JR Brow. Actor and comedian Jeff Jena will host both evenings.

Grove Park Inn Comedy Classic Weekend : Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. $30 Friday night. $40 Saturday night. Info and tickets: (800) 438-5800.
