Thanks for reading through to the end…

We share your inclination to get the whole story. For the past 25 years, Xpress has been committed to in-depth, balanced reporting about the greater Asheville area. We want everyone to have access to our stories. That’s a big part of why we've never charged for the paper or put up a paywall.

We’re pretty sure that you know journalism faces big challenges these days. Advertising no longer pays the whole cost. Media outlets around the country are asking their readers to chip in. Xpress needs help, too. We hope you’ll consider signing up to be a member of Xpress. For as little as $5 a month — the cost of a craft beer or kombucha — you can help keep local journalism strong. It only takes a moment.

    Visited the Full Moon
Wolf Farm on July 7–these are beautiful, majestic animals. Loved this experience. Will be back !!!

wonderful organization. I was surprised that the surrounding towns didn’t support it more.

Thank you Lauren for the beautiful pictures and positive piece.

We, Full Moon Farm, Inc., is a NC not for profit as well as a 501 ( c ) 3 federally recognized non profit, and are 10 years old.

We are in need of volunteers – to help with animal care, administrative, fence building, grant writing, and more. We are in need of tax deductible donations, as we have 74 animals in our care, as a sanctuary, and do not generate income from adoption fees, (we do not adopt out animals), no income from exhibiting, (we are not open to the public, except for out once a month Howl In’s, which there is no charge to attend) and we are in need folks who want to know the truth about wolfdogs – the ‘myth-understood’ canine.

Please mark your calendars for August 4th, at 3:00 p.m. our next Howl In. You may email me, nancy@fullmoonfarm.org for an appointment for an alternative visit date.
