You don’t have to be down on your luck to sing the blues. Or to appreciate hearing someone else sing the blues. Saturday’s Night Of The Blues and Asheville Music Hall features local(ish) bluesman Mac Arnold with his band, Plate Full O Blues. Arnold’s resume includes stints with James Brown, Muddy Waters and Bill Withers. Arnold and company share the stage with Blonde Blues, a gospel/r&b outfit fronted by vocalist Cindy Adams (aka the blond).

Showtime is 9 p.m., tickets are $12 in advance or $14 day of show. Want to wins pair of tickets? Xpress holds a giveaway on Facebook tomorrow in the noon hour.
