The Dripolator unveils new name, new menu, new setup

The Dripolator Coffe Bar on Broadway will celebrate its re-branding as High Five Coffee Bar this weekend, but there are more changes afoot than just a new name.

According to an event page for the party, High Five Coffee Bar will feature a new menu, “locally commissioned art” and a new layout with “custom seating designed for our space.” But fans of the shop have no need for concern: High Five will continue serving Counter Culture Coffee.

Along with an opportunity to get acquainted with the changes, High Five’s grand reopening will include “treats and samples” from Short Street Cakes, Dobrá Tea, The Chop Shop and Buchi kombucha, along with chair massages by White Sage Massage Therapy. And, in the spirit of holiday giving, donations will be collected for Homeward Bound, which fights homelessness in Asheville by placing individuals and families in permanent housing.

So, whether you’re a loyal regular or just a newbie looking to fill up on free samples, High Five invites you to “meet the new face of who we’ve always been!”

High Five Coffee Bar is located at 190 Broadway St. Grand reopening festivities run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
