Urban Primitive trunk show on Friday-attachment0

Looking for something special to wear or to give during the holidays? Here’s a chance to find unique apparel and jewelry: Moda Boutique in Biltmore Park hosts Urban Primitive, a dual trunk show/sale with jewelry artist Kathy Van Kleeck and knitwear designer Cara May on Friday, Nov. 18, 3-8 p.m.

Van Kleeck’s work is, according to her website, a “blend of rustic elements in classically inspired silhouettes …jewelry designs that, while being firmly rooted in my own urban sensibility, have a primal and somewhat ancient quality.”

Of her knitwear, Cara May says on her Etsy.com bio, “My hope is that my hand knit creations will bring not only style and warmth to its wearer, but creativity, positive energy and tranquility as well.”

Both designers are Asheville residents. Join them for the trunk show along with wine and hors d’oeuvres at Mpda, 8 Town Square Blvd. in Biltmore Park.
