Weird weather causes cancellations

Asheville Community Theatre has cancelled tonight’s performance of Short Order Durang at 35Below, and the screening of Welcome to the Saudi Arabia of Coal. Check ashevilletheatre.org for information on rescheduling, and

The Americana project of former Barrel House Mama Eleanor Underhill, Habibigy, has cancelled its planned show at the Garage at Biltmore tonight. Look for the band at the venue again in March.

A “Pops” Concert featuring the music of Paul Whitehead, has been cancelled. It was scheduled for tonight at UNCA’s Lipinsky Auditorium.

Tryon Fine Arts Center has rescheduled Bo Eason’s Runt of the Litter for March 26. Tickets for the original performance will be honored. More details at 828-259-8322.

Echo Gallery’s reception for its New Works and New Guests exhibit has been rescheduled to next Friday, Feb. 12. Echo Gallery is at Biltmore Park.

Pisgah Brewing reports that Erika Jane & Remember the Bees will play at the tasting room tonight, although the food vendor has cancelled.

“It’s just raining, folks.” The Taylor Martin Band and Woody Wood are still on for MoDaddy’s tonight, 10ish, says @coopmusic.

Comedian Josh Sneed has cancelled, but Funny Business Comedy Club still has your laughs, from funnyman Jeremy Peirce.
