11th edition of The Trivia Challenge

PRESS RELEASE:

This July 20th, we mount our 11th edition of The Trivia Challenge, Asheville’s only live, comedy gameshow thingy. The word has gotten out as more and more people show up to be entertained by the wit and whimsy of Asheville’s best comic actors and personalities. This month, we have Jillian Summers, Travis Lowe, Matt Burke, and Jeff Catanese facing off on a range of topics far and wide. Who are these fine people? Glad you asked…

Jillian works as the tech director for Asheville Community Theatre. Not normally known as a performer, she has proven to be an unexpected delight whenever she appears on the panel.

Travis Lowe has a dry wit and a sharp mind. He’s a talented actor who has appeared all over town.

Matt Burke is a professional actor and teacher. His past credits include Identity Thief, where he worked with Jason Bateman and Melissa Mcarthy, and Jurrasic World, where he was not eaten by a dinsaur.

Finally, Jeff Catanese is the artistic director for Attic Salt theatre company and directed their smash productions of Vabya, Sonya, Masha, Spike, God of Carnage, and All in the Timing.

Hosted by Adam Arthur and Troy Burnette, with live music provided by the Amazing One Man SuperHappy Band, Mr. Anthony Willingham, Wednesday nights have never been this fun. Tickets are a measly 12 bucks, and can be purchased at ashevilletheatre.org. You may also find out more information by visiting our website: superhappyproductions.com
