There will be an educational forum on the referendum called "Defending Our Water: What You Need to Know Before You Vote" on Oct. 22nd at Jubilee on Wall Street, downtown Asheville, 6:30 - 8 pm. Speakers will include:

Esther Manheimer, Asheville Vice Mayor & MSD Board member
Mary Grant, researcher with Food & Water Watch, Wash. DC
Renee Maas, Food & Water Watch, Durham NC
Barry Summers, Activist, Save Asheville's Water

This event is co-sponsored by Mountain Voices Alliance, Clean Water for North Carolina, WNC Alliance, and WNC Sierra Club.
