Night of Style with Charleston Fashion Week founder Ayoka Lucas on Nov. 3
Join Charleston Fashion Week founder Ayoka Lucas during a red carpet "Night of Style," to be held at MG Road on Saturday, Nov. 3. The full press release follows:

Ayoka Lucas, stylist, editor, writer and founder of Charleston Fashion Week, is traveling to Asheville, Saturday, Nov. 3, to be honored at a special red carpet networking event, “Night of Style.”

PUSH Productions will be hosting the evening at Asheville’s newest cocktail lounge MG Road from 6:30-9 p.m. The event theme “Night of Style” is a nod to Lucas’ extensive styling expertise and recent launch into freelancing. Following nearly 10 years working with Charleston Magazine, Lucas now also offers a la carte styling services, fashion editorial production and styling, brand consultation, fashion event consultation, fashion commentary, and style consultation.
Lucas said, “I fell in love with Asheville a few years back when I was a guest speaker at Hatch Fashion. It was then that I discovered the city has a strong retail and fashion community with exceptional boutiques delivering a solid mix of emerging designers, current trends and my favorite, vintage! I’m excited to develop new clientele in Asheville and look forward not only to working one-on-one with new clients, but also developing a relationship with the fashion community there!”

MG Road’s skilled mixologists are featuring a surprise cocktail, inspired by Ayoka’s bold personality, and the stylish party will also have a red carpet experience for those attending to take photos, mingle with friends, and truly enjoy a “Night of Style.” The party is open to the public, however, space is limited and it is highly encouraged guests who plan to attend, show up early. Guests who are ages 21 and up are able to attend this event.
