51 Coxe food-truck court and commissary announces grand opening

PRESS RELEASE from 51 Coxe:

ASHEVILLE, NC – 51 Coxe is pleased to announce that it will hold a Grand Opening Celebration for its newly renovated Food Truck Court, Commissary and Beverage Service onsite at 51 Coxe Avenue at 4pm-6pm on September 11, 2015.

We are happy to introduce our services for the food truck industry to the community.  51 Coxe was built to support the local food truck entrepreneurs and to provide a convenient opportunity to enjoy a variety of food options at one location for locals and visitors to Asheville.

We’re delighted Holly Jones, Buncombe County Commissioner and NC Lieutenant Governor Candidate has agreed to join our celebration. We share her commitment to the Asheville and North Carolina community.

Representatives from Brother Wolf Animal Rescue will be joining the celebration with an adoption event. We ask that celebrants consider adopting a pet from Brother Wolf Animal Rescue.

Johnny and Susan Robinson are natives to Asheville and were intentional in the development of 51 Coxe to provide a home in the central business district for local food truck entrepreneurs.  The renovation of the onsite building with the inclusion of handicap accessibility provides seating and accessibility previously not available for food truck vendors in downtown Asheville.

The celebration will include music from Bobo’s Bluegrass Band. Small plates from food trucks and small pours from the tap room will be available for purchase.

This event is intended to be focused on more that just business; to inspire people to act locally supporting business, charity and government. We invite you to come to 51 Coxe and celebrate local food, local entrepreneurs, a local band, local charity Brother Wolf Animal Rescue and local candidate Holly Jones.
