AAFA hosts holiday party and toy drive Dec. 15

AAFA Holiday Party and Toy Drive

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – December 8, 2016 – The American Advertising Federation of Asheville (AAFA) invites the community to an evening of networking opportunities with industry professionals, delicious brews, and a chance to give back to the community.The club will be holding a toy drive for the Saint Nicholas Project put on by Eblen Charities.The event is free and does not require RSVP. Beverages will be available for purchase at the event, to be held at Catawba Brewing Company’s Biltmore Village location. The event will also include refreshments.

“We’re looking forward hosting an evening full of holiday cheer and celebrating with the spirit of giving. Let’s raise a toast to so much that we have to give thankful for,” said AAFA Co-President Laura Gaines.

The charity is in need of gifts for teenagers this holiday season. The donations will be distributed in the Ingles/St. Nicholas Toy Store, and through the Ingles Markets Magical Christmas Toy Drive and the Smokey Mountain Toy Run.

AAFA serves individuals in marketing, advertising and related industries throughout western North Carolina, providing varied educational programs and the most prestigious awards in the advertising and marketing industry. AAFA is also dedicated to public service, student outreach and the recognition of the most talented local professionals in the industry.
