An invitation from Hendersonville Fire Department

PRESS RELEASE:

Dear Hendersonville Citizens,

Thank you for your support of the City of Hendersonville. As Chief of The Hendersonville Fire Department I am asking for your assistance to provide input to our strategic planning process. We have taken the positive step of developing a strategic plan for the department in order to help us efficiently improve our level of service in the coming years. We have engaged the North Carolina Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM) to help facilitate part of that process for us. This week we held a session for our Community Business leaders to provide feedback. Next week we are inviting our citizens to participate in an upcoming feedback session so that we can hear from you and other members of our community.

The feedback session has been scheduled for:

Thursday, June 30th, 2016
Hendersonville City Operations Center
305 Williams Street, Hendersonville, NC
7:00pm

The format of the session will be simple and straightforward. You will be given the opportunity to offer your thoughts and recommendations to help us continue to move our department forward.

Please contact our City of Hendersonville Public Information Officer, Tara Ledbetter to confirm your attendance. You may call her at 828-697-3018, or email: tledbetter@hvlnc.gov. We ask that you please confirm your attendance as soon as possible so that we can plan for everyone attending.

Thank you for your help in this endeavor and for your ongoing support of the men and women of the Hendersonville Fire Department. We look forward to seeing you on June 30th. Please feel free to contact me if we can assist you in any other way.

Sincerely,

Joseph M. Vindigni, Fire Chief
