From the Asheville Police Department:
Asheville – At 3:42 PM today, Mission Hospital called APD reporting a person with a gunshot wound. Soon after officers and detectives arrived at Memorial Mission Hospital it was discovered that there was also second victim with a gunshot wound being treated in the ER. The shooting happened at the bus stop located at Livingston St and Depot St. The victims were identified as Dequan Tyrie Payton, 22 and Tremaine Laquan Patterson, 18. Both are individuals are being treated at Mission Hospital.
James Dewon Griffin, 25 is wanted for questioning for the shooting. No warrants have been issued at this time. All individuals are from Asheville.
