Art on Main Festival cancelled due to weather

Press release from the Arts Council of Henderson County:

ARTS COUNCIL OF HENDERSON COUNTY CANCELS
56th ART ON MAIN FESTIVAL OCTOBER 3 & 4, 2015

Hendersonville, NC – After careful consideration, the Art on Main committee has decided that the potential for hazardous weather conditions calls for us to cancel this year’s Art on Main.  Rain is one thing, but the forecast now includes winds and wind gusts that could be devastating for the artists and the public.

This is the first time that Art on Main has been cancelled. Plans for the 57th annual Art on Main fine art / fine craft festival, scheduled for October 1 and 2, 2016, have already begun.

For more information please contact the Arts Council at acofhc@bellsouth.net or 828-693-8504. The web address is www.acofhc.org.
