Asheville’s second Bar Wars event — scheduled to run at ten selected drinking establishments from Monday, March 23 through Sunday, April 5 — is accepting applications to join the competition until Wednesday, March 18.
Organized by Spirit Savvy Cocktails and sponsored by Asheville Grit and Ashevegas, the event calls on 10 bars to serve up their best $10 drink, with $4 from each sale going to the bar’s chosen local nonprofit.
Customers are encouraged to try the designer cocktails across town and vote for the top concoction throughout the two week period. A ‘Mix-Off’ finale with a panel of judges will determine the ultimate winner on Tuesday, April 7, or Wednesday, April 8.
