Asheville Brewing Company holds beer release benefit for Friends of Connect Buncombe

Asheville Brewing Company will hold a special beer release part this even from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at its Millroom location, with a portion of sales going to benefit the efforts of Friends of Connect Buncombe, according to a press release sent out by the brewing company.

The release party—a collaboration between Industry Nine Componentry and Asheville Brewing—will highlight the brewing company’s new I9.0 Double India Pale Ale (9% ABV). In addition to the new brew, the event will feature a raffle for an Industry Nine wheelset and a Cane Creek Double Barrel shock, a live DJ and a biking video montage.

A percentage of raffle ticket and beer sales will be donated to the Friends of Connect Buncombe to support their work in facilitating, building and connecting greenways around Asheville and Buncombe County.

Admission to the event is free and raffle tickets are two for five dollars. The party kicks off at six p.m. at the Millroom at 66 Asheland Avenue in downtown Asheville.
