Asheville Chamber holds Mega Networking: “speed dating for businesses”

Asheville, NC (Sept. 23, 2014) – Members of the business community will connect at Mega Networking Thursday, Oct. 9th hosted by the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event will be held from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Asheville Event Centre.

“Mega Networking is like speed dating for businesses,” said Amy Jackson, Director of Engagement for the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce. “Participants have a chance to meet face-to-face with other business people in a structured environment and walk away with solid connections.”

Tickets for Asheville Chamber members are $40; non-members are invited to attend at the non-member rate of $75.

“Fostering business connections is central to our work at the Asheville Chamber,” said Kit Cramer, the Asheville Chamber’s President and CEO. “Mega Networking allows people to make the kinds of business connections that help their business thrive.”

Reservations are limited to one person per company; five per business category.

The Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce, with more than 1,800 member businesses and organizations, is focused on growing jobs, serving as a voice for business and fostering prosperity. Chamber members collaborate with community organizations and coalitions to support the community and each other with the mission of building community through business.
