Led by Allison Weems, Asheville French School is hosting a collaborative tasting event at MetroWines on Sunday, Jan. 25, from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.

“Beat the winter blues by challenging your palate to a French wine and cheese tasting — four wines and four cheeses,” reads a press release from organizers.

The event will be held in cooperation with Asheville School of Wine, leading the wine tasting, and the Asheville Cheese Store, providing the cheese samples. The “brief but intense” event costs $25 per person to attend and requires no gastronomic or language experience, according to Weems, who will speak in both English and French.

Register here or visit metrowinesasheville.com for more information. MetroWines is located at 169 Charlotte Street.
