Press release

Imagine Pet Recue has won the $10,000 grand prize in Tractor Supply Co.’s national Rescue Your Rescue contest, an online competition to recognize groups working to find forever homes for adoptable animals.

Imagine Pet Rescue of Savannah, Ga. is a nonprofit organization founded by Cindy McManus dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding homes for animals that are fighting for life throughout the United States.

More than 1,100 animal rescues and shelters were nominated, 10 finalists were selected, and more than 70,000 votes were cast in the contest.

Tractor Supply hosted the contest as part of Pet Appreciation Week festivities. Tractor Supply will present $25,000 worth of checks to prizewinners on Saturday, Sept. 19 during Pet Appreciation Week events at local Tractor Supply stores.

Held Sept. 16-20, Pet Appreciation Week, or PAW, is Tractor Supply’s annual event that celebrates pets and introduces families to the joy of owning animals. The event features pet adoptions, demonstrations on pet nutrition, discounts on pet food and supplies, free giveaways, and valuable in-store prize drawings.
