Asheville seeks applications for Recreation Board

RECREATION BOARD RECRUITS NEW MEMBERS

Asheville, NC – The City of Asheville is accepting applications for the Recreation Board, a citizen advisory board to city staff and City Council on matters pertaining to the operation of park facilities and recreation programs within the City of Asheville, to make policy recommendations to the City Council, and to carry out duties as may be assigned to them by the City Council.

The board meets bimonthly on the second Monday from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. in the 1st floor conference room of City Hall in January, March, May, July, September and November.

Applications will be accepted through September 7 at 5:00 p.m. To apply go to the City of Asheville website at
