Asheville Fire Department performs safety skits for local schoolchildren

From the Asheville Fire Department:

The Asheville Fire Department’s Fire and Life Safety team of clowns and puppets will be performing at local elementary schools for the next few weeks. The interactive skit teaches children important fire and life safety messages in a fun and memorable way. This year’s theme is keeping safe while camping and includes clowns, puppets, Sparky the fire dog and a guest appearance from Smokey Bear!

The following is a list of dates, times and locations where the Asheville PALS will be performing:

3/20 10:45am Claxton Elementary
3/21 10am Jones Elementary
4/1 1:30pm Vance Elementary
4/2 10am Haw Creek Elementary
4/9 10am Johnston Elementary
4/11 1:15pm Sandhill Venable
