Asheville Sun Soo to be visited by esteemed Grand Master Kim of TaeKwon-Do International

Asheville Sun Soo Tae Kwon Do became a member of the Taekwon-Do International Union of schools (TKDI) last summer. Now, for the first time Grand Master Sun Jun Kim, 9th degree black belt and esteemed founder of TKDI, will visit the school to join the judges’ panel for the color belt testing of Saturday, February 18th.

School owner and chief instructor Master Tony Morris started Asheville Sun Soo almost five years ago and now teaches more than 350 students. Half are adults, and half of the adults are women, demographics that are unusual in the Tae Kwon Do world, where kids – and a few men tend to fill the ranks. The February 18th testing will demonstrate this diversity as it includes boys, girls, men and women testing for all ranks, including black belt.

Sun Soo is located at 1009 Patton Avenue, near K Mart.
