Asheville’s Troy and Sons announces flavor infused whiskeys

Here’s the press release from Asheville Distilling Company:

July 1, 2014, ASHEVILLE, NC – Asheville Distilling Company announced two additions to a growing line of whiskey spirits, Troy & Sons Nectarine Whiskey and Troy & Sons Cinnamon Whiskey. The Troy & Sons Platinum flavors will be available in Florida and Colorado prior to launching to other states.

“We are very excited about the new additions to our product line. The flavors are incredible. It will be exciting to introduce to markets where Troy & Sons is currently available, especially our home state of North Carolina,” said Troy Ball owner of Asheville Distilling Company. “I have been experimenting with flavored whiskey for the past four years. Infusing fruits, honey, herbs and spices, looking for the perfect taste.”

The Nectarine is a perfect spirit for summer cocktails and the Cinnamon will add a bit of heat to mixed concoctions. Each of the flavored whiskeys carries a smooth after taste, which Troy & Sons has become known for.

Watch for flavors to hit the shelves this summer. Currently, Troy & Sons Oak Reserve, Troy & Sons Platinum Moonshine, and Blonde Whiskey are to purchase online at Asheville Distilling Company’s website and liquor stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Texas, New York and Chicago, and will be coming soon to other locations across the United States.
