Black Mountain to update its master plan as early as next year

From the Black Mountain News:

The Town of Black Mountain will begin updating it’s Comprehensive Plan, a 2004 document designed to guide the Town through the year 2020, in the next year, and could soon hold a public hearing to gather input.

The Town’s planning board invited the board of aldermen to a joint session on Monday during the planning board’s regular monthly meeting to receive guidance on the issue.

Planning board chair Ames Tryon said some components of the plan may need to be changed, others updated, and others kept the same.
