Brevard College hosts 5th annual Fine Arts Gala Feb. 21

BREVARD –
Brevard College’s Friends of Fine Arts hosts an elegant evening of dining, dancing and entertainment on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 6 p.m. at the Paul Porter Center for Performing Arts.

Art exhibitions, musical performances, silent and live auctions, beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres will be on hand for the 5th Annual “Love the Arts” Fine Arts Gala – a black-tie optional event. The theme for this year’s gala is “An Enchanted Evening.”

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy fine food, live music from Brevard College’s outstanding musicians and have the opportunity to place bids on an array of silent auction items from local artists and Brevard College students. A variety of one-of-a-kind items will be open for bidding at the live auction.

Proceeds from the Fine Arts Gala help make a difference in the lives of Brevard College students by lending access to an education in the fine arts. The fundraising efforts of Friends of Fine Arts provide state-of-the-art equipment; help bring guest artists to the campus; support pre-professional opportunities for students through travel to competitions, conferences and live professional performances; and aid in other top-notch educational and artistic experiences that benefit students long after they graduate from Brevard College.

The Fine Arts Gala is sponsored in part by Food Matters Market. Tickets are $60 each, and may be purchased through the Brevard College Fine Arts Office in the Dunham Music Building, at the Alumni House or by calling 828-884-8211.
