Brevard Mountain Christmas Festival seeks craft and food vendors, volunteers and musicians

From a press release:

Heart of Brevard is now accepting craft and food vendor applications for Brevard’s annual Mountain Christmas Festival, the Twilight Tour. In addition to vendors, the Heart of Brevard also hopes to gather groups of volunteers and musicians to assist and perform for the evening.

“It is our hope to revitalize the Twilight Tour this year by bringing back vendors, providing festive activities for the entire family, and creating a true ‘Mountain Christmas’ atmosphere that provokes nostalgia and holiday spirit,” says Toby Brown, the HOB board member heading up the effort this year. “Twilight Tour will be focused on Transylvania County. The goal is to make this a locally driven festival where citizens of the county can come together, celebrate this amazing mountain town we live in, and give back to the community we love. This is why participation is vital. We don’t just want the community to attend the festival, we want the community to be the festival.”

Twilight Tour will be the first weekend of December (Saturday, Dec. 6) from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., immediately following the annual Christmas parade. Activities will include: carriage rides, an elf workshop, pictures with Santa, outdoor holiday movies, caroling and music, craft and food vendors, a bonfire, the lighting of the Christmas tree, holiday donation centers, excerpts from the Nutcracker ballet, and much more. Come BE the festival.
