Press release from Mason Jar Media:

Asheville, NC’s original beer festival, is proud to announce the lineup for its 19th annual event happening on Saturday, September 19th. Jeff Austin Band, Big Daddy Love, and Packway Handle Band will perform while over 50 breweries sample a diverse assortment of national and regional craft beers. Tickets for Brewgrass go on sale this Saturday, March 21st at 11 am ET through http://brewgrassfestival.com/.

Founded in 1996, Brewgrass Festival is Western North Carolina’s original craft beer festival. North Carolina is now home to over 100 breweries and brewpubs, and since those early days, Asheville has formed a burgeoning beer scene – even reigning as “Beer City USA” four years in a row. Brewgrass Festival’s annual event has always showcased some of the most in-demand and exciting brewers in the region.

The event returns this year to Memorial Stadium in downtown Asheville with music from headliner the Jeff Austin Band featuring Jeff Austin, formerly of Yonder Mountain String Band, with Danny Barnes, Ross Martin and Eric Thorin. Also joining the roster are Western North Carolina’s own Big Daddy Love, and Packway Handle Band from Athens.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday, March 21st at 11 am and are $55 for general admission. A limited number of VIP tickets are also available for $150 and will include light catered fare; access to private bathrooms; and premiere viewing backstage. Tickets for the event are highly sought after and consistently sell out the day they go on sale.

Brewgrass is proud to donate a portion of all proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Western North Carolina, a United Way agency. The organization serves young people in Western North Carolina in over nine counties, matching children (ages 6-14) from single-parent families with caring, adult mentors.
