Buncombe County is the 14th healthiest county in North Carolina (out of 100)

From the Citizen-Times:

“The 2012 County Health Rankings, produced by the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, were released today ranking Buncombe County as the 14th healthiest county in North Carolina.

Buncombe’s overall health rankings have increased from No. 25 in 2010 and No. 17 in 2011 to this year’s ranking of 14 out of the 100 in N.C., which puts Buncombe in the top 20 N.C. counties for four of the six major categories: healthy outcomes, health behaviors, clinical care, and social and economic factors.”
