Candlelight vigil for Domestic Violence Awareness held Oct. 1

Join Buncombe County in honoring the victims and survivors of abuse by attending the Domestic Violence Awareness Vigil and ceremonial lighting of the courthouse on:

    • When: Thursday, October 1st from 7-9 p.m.
    • Where: Pack Square Park in downtown Asheville
    • This year’s event will feature:
      • Performance by Womansong
      • Various Speakers
      • Survivor Testimony
      • Candlelight Vigil
      • Memorial for NC Homicide Victim
      • Lighting of Buncombe County Courthouse
    • There will be information tables highlighting services available to assist victims as well as the Clothesline Project Display.
