The Millroom announces three comedy shows for the month of April: Vince Morris performs on Friday, April 10; followed by Tom Green on Tuesday, April 14; and Sara Schaefer on Thursday, April 30.

Press release from event organizers:

April is the month for comedy in Asheville with three fantastic comedians coming through to play the best venue for comedy in Asheville, Funny Business at The Millroom.

Friday, April 10th features Vince Morris, who’s appeared on CBS’ Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, his own Comedy Central Half Hour, BET’s Comedy View and HBO’s Def Comedy Jam. National movie and TV star Tom Green comes in on Tuesday, April 14th and on Thursday, April 30th Sara Schaefer, who’s appeared on MTV’s Nikki & Sara, John Oliver’s New York Stand-up Show and The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon, returns for one incredible show.

Originally from Columbus Ohio, Vince Morris is one of the hottest up and coming comedy veterans on the scene today. No stranger to television, Vince has appeared on B.E.T.’s Comic View, H.B.O’s Def Comedy Jam, CBS’ Late Late Show,  Comics Unleashed W/Byron Allen, and his own Half Hour Comedy Central Special just to name a few.

You know Tom Green from his anything-goes run as the funniest, most unpredictable personality on MTV, and his unforgettable, deliciously loony roles in uproarious film comedies including “Road Trip” and “Freddy Got Fingered.” Tom wrapped his 3rd season of “Tom Green Live” on Marc Cuban’s AXS TV at the end of 2014. Tom brought his unique brand of hilarity to the art of stand-up comedy in his one-hour comedy special, Tom Green Live, which taped last year at the Wilbur Theater in Boston. The special continues premiered on Showtime in early 2013 and continues to re-air on Showtime and is available on Netflix.

Sara Schaefer is a critically acclaimed stand up comedian, writer, and producer currently based in Los Angeles. She was recently the co-host of MTV’s late night show Nikki & Sara Live. Sara has appeared on @Midnight, John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Best Week Ever, and Inside Amy Schumer. She won two Emmy awards for her work at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and has written for BestWeekEver.tv and Who Wants to Be A Millionaire.
