The Corpening Memorial YMCA will be holding its Fit After 50 Extravaganza Saturday March 23rd from 10 AM – 12 PM at the YMCA. This event is free and open to the community especially the 50 and older, targeting 50-64 year olds.

There will be great music with Skiffle Creek, free food samples of salmon, cous cous and asparagus and great raffle prizes; such as an overnight stay at a bed and breakfast. Be sure to visit the McDowell County vendors with a variety of displays and crafts.

There will be free wellness events that you can sign up for including healthy cooking demos, introduction to canning, card making, introduction to stamping and Zumba Gold. You can also participate in Zumba or Moving for Better Balance classes.

This event is open to the public and non-members can sign up for the free wellness events that day.
