David Joe Miller Presents his ever popular, Spoken Word OPEN MIC! returning to the Buffalo Nickel, 747 Haywood Road, on Wednesday July 20th at 7pm.
OPEN MIC! encourages ALL spoken word artists and enthusiasts to gather and listen as well as place their names in the hat for a chance to share their words in front of a supportive audience.
Bring your ten minutes of story, poetry, comedy, improv or written work. Sign up begins at 6:30pm, show at 7pm. You’ll have ten minutes of stage time. No theme and no competition, just sharing and fun!
Only two rules: 1. Keep your stage time to ten minutes or less. 2. Keep your clothes on.
July’s special co-host will be actress Emily Shaules with special appearances from local blogger, Blaine Greenfield PLUS Asheville Blog and WAX celebrity, Benny Whitaker!
