Do you compost? The NC state government wants to hear from you!

Help the state learn more about composting at urban farms and community gardens taking the survey. Here are the details from the press release:

The North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Division of Environmental Assistance & Outreach is requesting feedback from all urban farms and community gardens (UF/CG) in NC through this survey. The purpose of the survey is to get a more accurate account of the number of UF/CGs in NC and their composting practices. The data gathered may eventually help to increase opportunities for composting in urban areas while still minimizing environmental and public health risks.

Please coordinate with other members/organizers of your farm/garden to only send in one response per community garden/urban farm.

Survey response requested by 5 p.m. on November 15, 2012. Please contact Brian Rosa (brian.rosa@ncdenr.gov)with any questions.
