Dobra will host LEAF benefit throughout this weekend

Asheville, N.C. (February 22, 2012) – Dobrá Tea will host Loose LEAF Weekend, a LEAF International benefit which features music, dance, classes teaching traditional brewing techniques for international teas. A LEAF International donation, outreach and information table will be set up at 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013 and remain through 7 p.m., Sunday, March 3, 2013. LEAF International music education and outreach programs benefit children in Guatemala, Tanzania, Rwanda, Panama, Bequia, Mexico, India and Haiti. Performing artists include Noah Wilson, Matthew Cox, River Guerguerian, Chris Rosser, Christy Clavio and Lisa Zahiyah.

Loose LEAF Weekend at Dobrá Tea:
Friday, March 1
7:00 p.m. – 10 p.m.: LEAF International staff at donation table
8:00 p.m.: Indian music of Sitar and dulcimer performance by Noah Wilson with Matthew Cox on tabla

Saturday, March 2
11:00 a.m.: Tea class and tasting of teas from around the World
12:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.: LEAF International staff at donation table
1:00 p.m.: Belly dancing performance by Lisa Zahiya
7:30 p.m.: The sounds of Europe and North Africa Performance by River Guerguerian & Chris Rosser of Free Planet Radio

Sunday, March 3
11 a.m.: Tea class and tasting of teas from around the World
12:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: LEAF International staff at donation table
1:00 p.m. – The sounds of Africa and indigenous infusions with an Mbira performance by Christy Clavio and Nathan Dyke on percussion
