Dough to expand cooking classrooms and offerings, closes market

After more than two years of operating as a market and a hands-on cooking classroom, Dough has announced that it will be closing its market as of today to make way for an expanded cooking curriculum.

According to owner and chef Brian Ross in a press release, this new dedication to culinary education will allow Dough to offer a wider range of instruction in various regional and international cuisines; classes featuring noted cookbook authors and guest chefs; continuing culinary education geared towards professionals; and more classes specifically for children and teens.

“The marrying of my two passions, food and education, is like a dream come true for me,” says Ross. “What better way to share knowledge and good food with people as well as a skill that can not only last a lifetime, but also grow to something bigger — whether it be cooking for family and friends or ultimately pursuing a culinary career. That’s exactly what happened to me.”
