Expect traffic delays March 11 along Nesbitt funeral procession route

Here’s the advisory from Buncombe County:

Asheville, NC – March 10, 2014 –The funeral procession for Martin Nesbitt will depart Biltmore Baptist Church at approximately 3:00pm on Tuesday, March 11, following the funeral service. The procession is private and will be marked for family and invited guests. Traffic delays are expected along the procession route between 3:00pm and 4:00pm. Persons traveling in the area should consider alternate routes. The procession will depart Biltmore Baptist Church via Clayton Road to Brevard Road to Interstate 26 West. The procession will continue along I-26 West to Interstate 40 East to US 74-A to Cane Creek Road. Members of the public who wish to show their support may gather along the procession route. Those wishing to show their support are encouraged to gather along Highway 74-A in a safe location out of the flow of traffic.
