Instructor Nadine Charlsen – Nadine is an accomlished scenic painter with years of theatrical experience painting amazing sets in NYC as well as an illustrious career as a college professor in theater and an award winning fine artist. She brings great techniques, uses special paints and more to this class. Great for painters who want to capture realistic subjects, and also for aspiring theatrical set painters!! This class will jump start you to new skills that are possible.

Explore painting methods to make wood grain, marble and more. Experiment with scrubbing, dripping, splashing, glazing and more in unexpected ways! Learn about, non-traditional tools, and paint additives. The class can translate to your home or your fine art. Nadine has been involved in theatrical and film scenic painting for over 40 years. She has also designed and painted indoor and outdoor murals using many faux painting techniques. This workshop will be taught using acrylic provided. You can translate these techniques to any medium on your own.
