Franklin High School Marching Band to Perform at the Liberty Bowl
Franklin, North Carolina- 11/11/15 – WorldStrides OnStage programs has invited the marching band from Franklin High School to perform at the Liberty Bowl. They will join marching bands from across the country in the halftime show finale of this major college bowl game. An invitation to perform at the Liberty Bowl is an honor reserved only for the most talented student performers from across the nation.
Under the direction of Buddy Huckabee, the Franklin High School marching band will travel to Memphis where they will rehearse with the mass band and learn from nationally acclaimed adjudicators. In their free time, they will take in the sights of Memphis.
Huckabee has been teaching for 19 years and will be personally leading the Franklin High School group to Memphis. This is the fourth time he has traveled with WorldStrides.
