Press release

Please join The Asheville School of Wine to taste Gruet BRUT, Rose and Blanc de Noir on Friday, December 18th from 4 to 6:30pm @MetroWines. The tasting is “on the house” and parking is free, easy and close.

Gruet is known for the highest quality sparkling wines made in the methode champenoise.

About Gruet from gruetwinery.com: The Gruet family, already well-established making Champagne since 1952 in France, knew a few European winemakers who had started vineyards in New Mexico with pleasing results. So, they visited the state and realized an ideal climate for growing grapes. In 1983, the Gruets purchased a vineyard near the Elephant Butte Reservoir and expanded their legacy to the U.S.
