Full Moon Farm Wolfdog Sanctuary Celebrates Wolf Awareness Week

  • Sunday, October 9, 7 p.m. to midnight — Music event at White Horse Black Mountain. Featuring live music by Mark Tebalt, Happenstance, Sources, Mitch Hayes Trio, Donnie Nivens, Rockafellers, 176 and Shotgun Gypsies. $7 admission at the door and a special appearance by River the Ambassadog.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 12, 5 p.m.Sanctuary Brewing event (147 1st Ave E, Hendersonville, NC 28792). Stop by and see River the Ambassadog and enjoy a cold one!
  • Monday, Oct. 17, all dayMayfel’s in downtown Asheville, 10% of sales donated to Full Moon Farm. A special appearance by River the Ambassadog!
  • Tuesday, Oct. 18, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. — Black Mountain Pizza Hut FUNdraising event. 10% of sales go to Full Moon Farm featuring special wolfdog appearances by River and Akila 2!
  • Saturday, Oct. 22, 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. — Paint Bug event at Weinhaus. Talented artist will guide you through painting River, our Ambassadog, while you enjoy an adult beverage. Special appearance by River.
  • Saturday, Oct. 22, 7 p.m. — Whistle Hop Brewing Company (1278 Charlotte Hwy, Fairview, NC 28730), enjoy a cold beer and a special viewing of the award winning documentary “Wolves Unleashed.”
  • Sunday, Oct. 9 through Oct. 22Patton Avenue Pet Company will be hosting a pet food/toy/treat drive for Full Moon Farm at all 3 Locations.
