Grape-growing and wine-making classes to be held at A-B Tech

A-B Tech will be hosting a series of grape growing/wine making classes at their BioNetwork BioBusiness Center & Laboratory in Candler NC campus over the next few months.

The upcoming Wine and Grape Series will include:
Vineyard Design & Installation – April 25 – 6-7PM – $10
Vineyard Canopy Management: May 2, 6-7 p.m. $10
Harvesting Grapes for Value Added Products: May 16, 6-7 p.m. $10
Winemaking at Home: May 23, 30, and June 6, 6-8:30 p.m. $30
Marketing your Vineyard/Winery: June 13, 6-7 p.m. $10
Wine Etiquette: June 20, 6-7 p.m. $10
Wine Evaluation: June 27, 6-8 p.m. $10

All of these classes will be led by Chuck Blethen, owner of Jewel of the Blue Ridge Vineyard; Executive Director of the Sustainable Appalachian Viticulture Institute; and Member of the North Carolina Natural Products Association Board of Directors.
