Grateful Steps hold a fine art silent auction fundraiser

PRESS RELEASE FROM GRATEFUL STEPS:

Grateful Steps, Asheville’s nonprofit publisher has launched a very promising fundraiser. The event is underway and extends to June 15 at Grateful Steps.

Many of us have nicely framed or frameable prints or other works of art we no longer display in our homes. They may be in a closet, attic, garage or other storage place. As part of spring cleaning this year, wouldn’t it be nice to get a tax deduction for an art donation and, at the same time, help Grateful Steps Foundation raise money? Also, the persons who buy the art at our silent auction would enjoy the art in their own homes.

Please donate your framed and frameable art to Grateful Steps Foundation now. You will be given a donation acknowledgment for the art you donate. We welcome your recommendation for a minimum bid.

From now until June 15, 2016, please stop by Grateful Steps Foundation at 333A Merrimon Avenue and place a bid on any of the offered art objects. Many are already on display. Please check back before the auction ends to see if you have been outbid!

At 5:00 p.m. local time on June 15, 2016, the silent auction will end. Each successful bidder will have ten days to pay the final bid price for the art and collect his or her art piece(s). Any unsold art will be offered back to the donor for pick-up, or can be donated to Goodwill, Habitat, or other suitable charities.

RECEPTION OPEN TO ALL

Join us at Grateful Steps for a reception to review and discuss the art pieces as we enjoy Del Vecchio snacks and sip on wine from Metro Wine.
Saturday, June 4
