Tire Amnesty Days return to Buncombe County on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17. This free to the public tire collection is geared for the residents of Asheville and Buncombe County.
Citizens are encouraged to bring out their scrap tires on or off rim to the Sears Auto Center parking lot for Asheville GreenWorks to recycle.
Please bring along a valid ID or a recent water bill to show that you are a resident of the city of Asheville or Buncombe County. Volunteers will be on hand to help unload tires.
This event will be held at the Sears Auto Center, 1 S. Tunnel Road, Asheville on Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from noon to 5pm.
