Ham radio operators to team up with Boy Scouts for Jamboree on the Air

Local amateur radio operators will showcase their skills to the Boy Scout community at the 55th annual Jamboree on the Air, to be held this Saturday, October 21, at the WNC Agriculture Center. The following is from the monthly newsletter of the Western Carolina Amateur Radio Society:

The Western Carolina Amateur Radio Society and The Daniel Boone Council, BSA will participate in the 55th JOTA as part of the Scout Show to be held at the WNC Agriculture Center, October 21.
WCARS will operate . . . during the time the scout show is open to the public. Scouts will be allowed to participate in amateur radio as part of JOTA. Come and be part of a global event.
