Press Release from Hands On!:

Come visit Hands On!, the children’s museum in downtown Hendersonville, to experience “hands on” voting for all ages. Practice the voting process by voting on this question: “What tastes better an apple or an orange?” The Hands On! Voting booth is made possible by Kids Voting Henderson County which is an affiliate of Kids Voting North Carolina and Kids Voting USA. Kids Voting is a private, non-partisan organization dedicated to engaging students from K-12 and their families in voting and other elements of effective civic engagement to foster an informed, participating electorate. This activity is free with $5 admission/free for members.

The mission of Hands On! is to provide “hands on” educational experiences that stimulate the imagination and motivate learning in a fun, safe environment. For additional information about their educational programs and facility, please visit their website at www.handsonwnc.org or call 828-697-8333.
