Hendersonville Little Theatre changes name to Hendersonville Community Theatre

Hendersonville, NC – The Hendersonville Little Theatre begins their 51st with a name change to Hendersonville Community Theatre and an expanded season of six main stage and four second stage shows.

The wonderful and witty contemporary musical Ordinary Days opens the main stage season on January 22 -31 followed by the comedy On the Verge April 29-May 8 and the Pulitzer Prize winning drama Clybourne Park June 24 – July3. The family favorite musical Oliver! will run for 3 weekends August 19-September to be followed by the drama The Chalk Garden on November 4-13 and the season will conclude with the country western musical Heaven in Your Pocket December 2-11.

Productions on the Second Stage will begin with the premiere of local play write Sue Bargeloh’s three  one act plays Matters of Choice February12-21 and continue with the comedy A Bad Year for Tomatoes April 8-17, the dramedy 4000 Miles June 3-12 with the award winning God of Carnage closing the season October 14-23.

Performances on the main stage are at 7:30 P. M. on Friday and Saturday evenings and at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Ticket prices for musicals are $26.00 for adults, $20.00 for students over 18 and $15.00 for children. Tickets for Plays are $22.00 for Adults, $18.00 for students and $12.00 for children.

Second stage performances are at 7:30 P.M. on Friday and Saturday evenings and 2:00 P.M. on Sundays. Ticket prices for the second stage are $16.00.
