Instructors needed for Creative Business Management Program

Here’s the information via the Asheville Area Arts Council’s email newsletter:

The AAAC is proud to announce that our partnership with Asheville-Buncombe Technical College on the Certificate of Creative Business Management program is about to launch! This program provides a business planning overview and five core classes in creative business management through A-B Tech’s Continuing Education Department.

The program will launch in the Fall catalog, and interested instructors are encouraged to apply now to teach courses. Instructors are needed for the following classes:

Technology and Software for Creative Business Marketing and image management software, bookkeeping software, digital communications and organization, Cloud tools, Social media, online sales, online resources, databases, inventory management, website design tools.

Tax compliance for the Creative Business 1099 contracts and self-employment, other tax structures (llc’s, s-corps, etc.) tax prep, managing data for tax time, Quickbooks, employees and their taxes, production assistance and other professional services, sales tax and sales and use licenses.
