Instructors needed to teach for Asheville chapter of Guitars for Vets

From the press release:

The “Guitars for Vets,” Asheville Chapter, needs more part-time volunteer guitar instructors to teach Veterans at the Charles George VA Medical Center, Asheville.

Guitars For Vets (a 501c(3) non-profit organization) enhances the lives of injured and ailing Veterans through music. It provides free guitar lessons, and a free guitar, to Veterans who are referred into the program by a care provider.

The Asheville chapter is growing and needs more teachers. Hours and level of commitment are flexible. Patience and compassion are more important than technical chops. To apply, e-mail your contact information to g4vcarolina@comporium.net.  All volunteers must complete a volunteer orientation with the Charles George VAMC before they can start teaching.
