Jeff Hunt endorsed by prosecutors from across North Carolina

Here’s the press release from the Jeff Hunt campaign:

Hunt earns endorsements from conservative leaders in Congressional race

BREVARD, NC (March 27, 2012) – Today, District Attorney Jeff Hunt, a candidate for the 11th District Republican nomination, announced his campaign has been endorsed by 11 District Attorneys from across North Carolina in his race for Congress. The endorsements are the first from conservative leaders in the 11th District race, and highlight the long-standing work Hunt has done for conservative causes in North Carolina in his time as the District Attorney for District 29B, which includes Henderson and Transylvania Counties in the 11th District.

Said Hunt, “I couldn’t be happier to have support from some of the most conservative elected officials in North Carolina – Republican District Attorneys. We all share a strong belief in the Constitution, conservative principles, and being accountable to the people we represent. These are things I’ve fought for in my District and they are the same principles I will fight for in Washington.”
The District Attorneys supporting Hunt are: Phil Berger Jr, Wallace Bradsher, Brandy Cook, Jon David, Susan Doyle, Garry Frank, Sarah Kirkman, Maureen Krueger, Andrew Murray, Trey Robison, and Gerald Wilson.
Berger: “I am grateful to have an opportunity to endorse my friend Jeff Hunt for Congress. He has been a conservative fighter and is someone who gets the job done. He led our effort to enact the Unborn Victims of Violence Act with the General Assembly to protect life and I know he will lead the fight for limited constitutional government in Washington.”

Doyle: “Jeff has been one of our leaders in North Carolina and has the strong moral character to help turn our country around. I know he will do great things in Washington but we surely will miss his leadership, character, and tenacity that have led to so many victories for families in our state.”
